Meet Esterlyn

Here is a picture of Esterlyn to our left....oh wait a minute that's not them...oh, here they are .  Hmm, now I'm sure you're wondering, whoa, why the heck are we mending lamps??  Well, if you'll hold on a second I'll tell ya...sheesh, a lil patience please!!  Well, as you know, their first CD is called "Lamps" but their second CD which is an Acoustic EP, is called...no wait, I don't think I'm gonna tell ya, you're gonna have to go to their MySpace and find out.

 Ok, so like who are these dudes??  Well, they're a Christian indie band from Boise, Idaho and they totally rock!  To find out more about them, though, I encourage you to visit their MySpace and watch the videos under what says "About Esterlyn"...those are rather helpful.

 Now for the reason they are called "Esterlyn".  Luke Henry Caldwell's sister and her husband adopted a lil girl from China named Esther Lyn and the men of Esterlyn thought that was inspiring that they would give that much to a lil girl they didn't know.  

 Now to why their CD is called "Lamps".  Jesus said we are to be a light to this world and Esterlyn thought, "hey we're kind of like lamps then, so why not?".  Ok so those aren't their exact words, not even close, but basically that is why their CD is called "Lamps".  

 It took them about a year and a half to finish their CD because they were really focused on writing their music and wanted to make sure everything and every word was perfect.  All I have to say is, it worked guys!
